The Fire Tusk Pain Proof Circus!

Ladies and gentlemen... Roll up, Roll up!
I have been asked by the head honchos at The Fire Tusk Pain Proof Circus HQ to be a guest artist in their week long run at the Brighton Fringe festival!

"...Come and see this celebration of human folly and resilience: a high-octane phenomenon of real clowns, real risks and real skills! Fire, motorbikes, straitjackets, chainsaws, whips, knives and flying usherettes: The Fire Tusk Pain Proof Circus drags circus, kicking and screaming into the 21st century on an unstoppable, rock ‘n' roll rollercoaster to Hell...."

I am VERY excited about this, not only will I be performing my solo glass walking routine. I will also be performing a few stunts with members from the main cast.

Everything about this show spells out the word A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, the cast, crew, set, stunts, costumes, characters.... It's the biggest Fire Tusk circus show to date, and no doubt it will be the best.

The show will run from the 1st of May, until the 9th. It will be at The Freerange (St Peter's Church Gardens, London Road)

Burping the Blues!

A new video of myself and Lady Ane Angel burping the alphabet...!
This idea originated during the time between the end of a Gypsy Hotel, and the start of a Sunday morning.. We realised that we could both burp the alphabet, a standard but yet outstanding Muddy Waters Blues riff was added by Paul Ronney Angel, and along came 'Ladies Burp the Blues!' Needless to say we had our first (but not last) gig at Gypsy Hotel soon after...

The brilliantly talented John Bland from One Eyed Monster films made this, and when we were filming none of us could stop laughing!

I'm also currently working on a new documentary film by John Bland called 'Voice of the Night Lily' It focuses on myself and three fellow cabaret performers - Lady Ane Angel, Lalla Morte and Suri Sumatra......

Recent News...

Brief update...

Tomorrow (20/04/10) I'll be performing at Camden Roundhouse as part of the Circus Season that is happening at the moment. The event is called Kleinkunst.

You can read more about it here; http://www.roundhouse.org.uk/whats-on/productions/kleinkunst-iii---the-sideshow-4348

The show will be the first UK performance in 2010 by Myself and The Baron (The Baron and Missy's Misadventures). We have also been working on some new stunts that will be previewed at the Bizarre Ball on the 5th of June!

I have also had the honour of being asked to be part of The Fire Tusk Pain Proof Circus, for their run at The Brighton Fringe Festival (1st-8th May 2010) I'll be performing as a clown, and as a sideshow guest where I'll have my own glass walking routine amongst the clown carnage! I cannot wait, it's going to be an absolutely fantastic production.

This Thursday I'll be the headlining artist at The London Burlesque Week's 'Sexy Circus Sideshow' night... I'll be performing a new version of my solo Freakshow.

And, Friday I'll be doing a photoshoot with the brilliant Tom Medwell http://tomthephotographer.blogspot.com

I've just had some images back from another photographer called Michel Dierick. Here's some previews... These were shot in my house, that is also a studio location...
